Terry Crews will be dipping into reality television since the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has been named host for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, Page Six reports. The spinoff will follow contestants from past seasons as well as fan favourites from the global renditions of the show all coming together to compete against each other.
The show will debut in January and the usual judges, Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell, will still hold their spots.
“I am so proud and honored to join Simon, Mel, Heidi and Howie in hosting the No. 1 alternative series on television,” Terry said in a statement. “NBC’s America’s Got Talent is a show I love to watch with my family and now to actually be a part of this special edition, The Champions, is more than I could have asked or dreamed. Now America’s Got Terry Crews!”
