Yesterday, we noted that Tekashi 6ix9ine had a court date today and risked spending the next 3 years in prison. While there have been no official updates on what happened during his day in court, his latest social post may be hinting towards the worst. Surprisingly dropping his new track "GOTTI," 6ix9ine's management deleted all of the controversial rapper's previous Instagram posts before adding an animation of the rapper with an odd statement. As Tekashi is incredibly active on social media, a message from his management is out of the norm and the content in his caption is what's even more shocking.
Writing in all capitalized letters, Tekashi's page reads, "MANAGEMENT: TEKASHI WONT BE BACK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. HE’S DECIDED TO RELEASE THE OFFICIAL AUDIO TO GOTTI TODAY FOR YOU GUYS, LINK IS IN HIS BIO." Although a reason for his hiatus is not given, it likely has to do with the Brooklynite's court date from today. Perhaps stipulations surrounding social media use were applied to 6ix9ine's case as with NBA YoungBoy a few weeks ago. The post continues, "WE’LL UPDATE YOU GUYS ON HIS BEHALF FOR THE TIME BEING. GO LISTEN TO GOTTI NOW! LINK IN HIS BIO. HE LOVES YOU GUYS!"
