Here's yet another new freestyle from Styles P. His latest comes over the instrumental to "Permission," a buzzing hit from R&B singer Ro James. The track follows several new improvised reworks from the LOX emcee, including freestyles over Dr. Dre's "Just Another Day," Drake's "Summer Sixteen," and Kanye West's "Real Friends."
The D-Block rapper does well with slow-burning instrumentals like this one (coming from Soundz), and his gruff-voiced flow is immediately commanding. Whereas James used his track to lay down some late-night romance, Styles chooses to use his remix as means to relay some veteran street lessons.
