Shirt, the first rapper signed to Jack White’s Third Man Records, was first introduced to us last month by way of his “Flight Home” video, and now today the Queens emcee is back with his debut album Pure Beauty.
Laced with 11 songs in total, the project finds the multi-talented Queens-based MC writing & recording the whole project by himself, with production coming from Ricky Dubs, Zois, New York, Donnie Fontaine, Joe Hov, Steel Tipped Dove, Brady James, Wonder Breed, and San Holo. It happens to be inspired by the work of conceptual art giant John Baldessari, who has an art exhibit titled Pure Beauty.
