New York Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley is quickly becoming a fan favorite, if not for his on-field talents then for his generosity off the field.
Barkley, 21, recently took to instagram to show off his parents' new home, which he paid for after being selected second overall by the Giants in the 2018 NFL Draft in April. In addition to making it to the league, Barkley says that buying his parents their dream house has always been a goal of his.
He captioned the IG post, "Something I promised my parents, ever since I was a young kid. Finally be able to achieve that goal is the most amazing feeling. Every kid out there that has a dream continue to keep your head down and work your butt off, great things will come along the way."

Just days before the draft, Barkley took to instagram with a heartfelt message following the birth of his daughter, further showcasing why he's such an easy guy to root for. He wrote, "Words can’t even describe how I feel right now. You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank God for blessing me with you in my life and into my arms. I pray that I can be the best father to you and help you grow into an amazing woman."
Barkley and his fellow rookie teammates will report to Giants training camp on July 22, a couple of days before the vets show up. The Giants will kick off the NFL regular season at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 9.
