While Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels kept their relationship private for years, the breakup has been a much more public affair. With the release of The Pinkprint, Minaj addressed her feelings for Safaree for the first time on record, and since then there's been plenty of back-and-forth on social media.
The most recent development in the story is a song Safaree is preparing to release which tells his side of the story, but when a clip of the audio made the rounds, Nicki decided to reveal another piece of the puzzle on Twitter, alleging Safaree had cheated on her.
Samuels was approached by TMZ, and of course, they asked about Minaj's accusation. While he didn't deny it, he suggested he wasn't the only one who had been unfaithful. “It’s a two-way street,” he said. “I’m not perfect, nobody's perfect.”
He also suggested the record is not a diss, but simply a statement of where he's coming from. "It's one song," he said. "I had a whole album written about me."
