Rihanna's lingerie line is one of many business ventures that's doing extremely well since it's launch. A few months after Riri introduced her Fenty Beauty line, she came through with Savage x Fenty, a collection of bedtime intimates that has Rihanna's name written all over them. The offerings have clearly been doing well since it's just been announced that they will be appearing at this year's New York Fashion Week.
According to Page Six, the fall 2018 collection will be previewed at Fashion Week in September in a “see now, buy now” presentation in Brooklyn that will be an “immersive experience.” The pieces that will be shown will be available for purchase online, and at a pop-up at a later date followed by a Mall of America pop-up later in the month.
The Savage x Fenty New York Fashion Week takeover will take place on September 12th at 7:30 PM after the Marc Jacobs show that usually closes out NYFW.
“Savage is really about taking complete ownership of how you feel and the choices you make. Basically making sure everybody knows the ball is in your court," Riri said of her line. “As women, we’re looked at as the needy ones, the naggy ones, the ones who are going to be heartbroken in a relationship. Savage is just the reverse. And you know, guys don’t like getting the cards flipped on them—ever."
