Sammie has been plotting his return to music for quite some time. At 30 years old, his career has spanned for the majority of his life. While he's been relatively silent recently, he returns to the scene with his new single "Good Life" with some assistance from Rick Ross.
It's a smooth single that's definitely going to catch some ears. Although Sammie has been doing this for a long time, he's clearly adapted to what's going on right now. The production on the track maintains the same sultry and smooth R&B that he's been known for. It's an excellent track to for new fans and will definitely fulfills the same expectations his day one fans have. With a verse from Rick Ross, he paints the same luxurious lifestyle that he portrays constantly, making him an excellent fit to the song.
Sammie has been making music on a public platform since 1999, coming out with the smash single "I Like It." For the kids that were probably born then, he also was responsible for the hook on Soulja Boys' "Kiss Me Thru The Phone." While his album Coming Of Age is due out on September 15th, he has already begun the roll out for the project. "Good Life" serves as the third single thusfar to it. Of course, if you're dropping a song with that title, who better to grab that Rick Ross. Sammie proves that he hasn't lost a touch thusfar, this song is just as quality as the music he put out that got everybody in love with him.
His upcoming project seems like it'll be just as dope as this song and the other two he's put out. Other than Rick Ross, he's also has a feature from R&B crooner, Eric Bellinger. The project seems very promising and could help re-launch his career.
