Introducing Queen Naija.

Queen Naija is on a steady rise and causing some organic buzz for herself. She is most recognizable from her appearance on American Idol. Although her stint on the reality television program was short-lived, Naija persisted.

The singles leading up to her self-titled debut project already garnered the new artist some clout. Her first single, "Medicine," which also happens to be the EP's first track, actually hit the Billboard 100 Chart. Earlier this month, she rose to the top of Billboard's Emerging Artists ranking.

The Queen Naija EP deals mostly with romantic relationships. The love songs are likely inspired by her breakup with her husband. The newly-divorced mother also treats her relationship with her son in "Mama's Hand." The project is composed of 5 songs, but it is well-rounded nonetheless. It boasts a varied sonic palette from acoustic RnB influences to power ballad vibes.

Naija is definitely carving a spot for herself with this offering.

Track List

1. Medicine
2. Karma
3. Mama's Hand
4. Butterflies
