Prodigy Mural Being Fixed Following Vandalism

Cormega has confirmed that the tribute to the late Mobb Deep rapper is under repair.

Prodigy's memorial mural in the Queensbridge housing projects is being fixed up following a disheartening instance of vandalism. Cormega, friend and collaborator of the late Mobb Deep rapper, has shared a photo of the repairs being done on the painting after it was splattered by white paint only a day after completion. "Return of The Mac," he captioned the photo. There is still no word on who might be responsible for the defacing of the tribute. Here's hoping that there will be no more tampering with the memorial in the future.

Artists Jeff Henriquez and Eli-Eos are the creators of the piece which took 5 days to finish. The painting began after Prodigy passed away from complications due to his long battle with sickle-cell disease last month.
