Nef The Pharaoh just dropped a new track off his upcoming album The Chang Project, the stunting anthem "Bling Blaow." With an appearance from SOB x RBE member Slimmy B, "Bling Blaow" finds the Bay Area rapper flaunting his jewels while shitting on any who dare try to outshine him. Nef not only values the aesthetic of jewelry, but also the symbolism behind it, as he explained to The Fader.
"For artists who from the hood," says Nef, "jewelry is our token validation for making it. First thing you do when you get a check is get a grill or a chain. It takes pressure to make a diamond and purchasing a diamond is physical proof that you can survive under pressure."
