As we approach the much anticipated September 15th release date of NBA 2K18, 2K Sports continues to reveal details of the new and improved basketball game including the epic playlist, the classic "All Time" rosters, special edition commentators, and now - some info regarding player ratings.

NBA 2K18 has recently announced the Top-10 players at each position, revealing the highest rated players in the process. LeBron James checks in as the best overall player in the video game with a 97 rating, followed by Kevin Durant who starts out as a 96 overall. 2K Sports has James Harden and Kawhi Leonard both sitting at a 95, while Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry and Anthony Davis round out the highest rated players in 2K18, with 94 overall ratings.

Westbrook's and Curry's 94 overall rating has them ahead of every other point guard in the game. Anthony Davis ranks as the best power forward, while his Pelicans teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, is listed as the best center in the game with a 92 overall rating. LeBron and James Harden are obviously tops at their respective positions.

Here are the other players who came in with a 90+ overall rating, other than the players already mentioned:

PG:

Chris Paul - 91 OVR

Kyrie Irving - 90 OVR

John Wall - 90 OVR

SG:

Jimmy Butler - 90 OVR

Klay Thompson - 90 OVR

SF:

Giannis Antetokounmpo - 91 OVR

C:

As always, not everyone was thrilled with the way the rankings came out, including Spurs forward Rudy Gay, who was left off the Top-10 small forwards list.
