According to the Nigerian press, Feez Fashola (Naira Marley) and Temidayo Omoniyi (Zlatan), were arrested on Friday due to their alleged connection to a money laundering scheme. They also stand accused of committing internet fraud, although it's uncertain in what capacity they offered their services to the other schemers. Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission claims they are in possession of "unspecified" items that linking both Marley and Zlatan to the web of cybercrime.
"At the point of arrest, the Commission found and recovered a number of items, including laptops from the suspects. They have so far volunteered useful information about their involvement in the alleged criminal activities, even as investigations continue,” reads the statement issued by the EFCC. Whatever the case may be, "Am I a Yahoo Boy" is here to stay, having already proven itself to be a lethal number on the London club scene after just under a week in circulation.
