A couple months ago Kygo and Miguel released their collaborative track "Remind Me To Forget" that touched on the emotional aftermath of a breakup. "Baby, it hit so hard, holding on to my chest/ Maybe you left your mark, reminding me to forget," Miguel sings. Following up on the song, the duo have since released a new video that physically depicts the emotional happenings of a break-up.
In just under four minutes, we see Miguel posted up in a room with the walls, chairs, and mirrors around him smashing into pieces.
"I have my scars; no one goes through any of these battles that we deal with without ‘em," Miguel recently said while discussing his life's sensitive moments and not being able to rewind time. "But it’s how we choose to look at them and keep them in check, you know what I’m saying? It’s like, do we remember it and go woe is me, or do we remember and go that was a lesson learned? And move forward."
