"It was important that they had some time for themselves."

Mexico coach Juan Carlos Osorio has come to the defense of his World Cup Squad after they were roasted for partying with sex workers last Saturday after their friendly win over Scotland. According to the Mexican magazine TV Notas, several players arranged to meet with escorts at a farewell party held before the team departs for Russia to participate in the 2018 World Cup less than a week from now.

According to the report, Guillermo Ochoa, defender Carlos Salcedo, midfielder Marco Fabian, and MLS stars Giovanni and Jonathan dos Santos, were among the participants at the party held in Las Lomas. Their head boss or patron, Coach Juan Carlos Osorio sees nothing wrong at all with their actions, seeing as they all turned ready to compete in training the next morning.

"We had been together in concentration for 19 games before that and, hopefully, we will be together for another 25 to 30 days and it was important that they had some time for themselves," Osorio told reporters. "It was in their free time," jokes on you puritans. The Mexican Football Federation has already declared that no punitive action will be taken over sex party.

Mexico takes on Denmark in about an hour's time, in another prep match ahead of World Cup play.
