Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry magazine isn’t in the hands of too many people yet, but that didn’t stop a somewhat odd poem about anthropomorphized McDonald’s menu items penned by Kanye West from surfacing online. Frank Ocean grabbing headlines with over 200,000 projected first week sales didn't hurt either.
Joey Bada$$ recited the poem on Hot97, and the fast food giant apparently took notice. Yesterday they tweeted out their own short poem in response, which you can read below. You’ll note that McDonald’s avoids endorsing the line in West’s poem which references the “artificial meat” in their McRib.
