Masego has grown in prominence over the past few years and his unique brand of music continues to help him pave his own lane in music. As he gets ready to release his debut album in the near future, he comes through with a smooth new track titled, "Old Age."
Masego teams up with TDE's SiR for their new collaboration, "Old Age." Masego and SiR new song is a dedication to older women. On the hook, Masego sings, "I need a sugar mama, old lady, foxy mama, sophisticated / Old age don't me nothin' to me." The song also serves as the second collaboration between Masego and SiR. The two of them connected in 2017 on the song "Oh Nah Nah."
Speaking to NPR, Masego explained that the song came from a personal experience.
"The main theme of that show was how slept-on older women are," Sego said. "At that time in my life, I was also attempting to court this older woman. She was feelin' me, I was feelin' her, the only issue was somebody got the thought in her head that our age difference meant we can't work."
