The new version appears as a bonus cut on "Book Of Ryan."

Many fans were surprised to see Eminem appear on Royce Da 5'9"'s "Caterpillar" after it was rumored Logic would be fitting the slot. Turns out, Logic appears on the remix of the track, which arrived along with Royce's new album Book Of Ryan as a bonus track. With many calling Em's verse the best he's written in some time, Logic has big shoes to fill, but the boom bap beat is pretty much home turf for the Maryland rapper, who spits rhymes about inclusion and unity. Rather than keep things to a concise 16, Logic gets comfortable in his closing verse, only stopping when he's said everything he needs to. After going on a tangent where he discusses the complexities of his biracial identity in a half-spoken mock dialogue, he shouts out a few of the rappers he feels are doing things the right way: "Fuck the rap ego shit, just be a good person now that's the spirit / Shoutout to true emcees that love the culture / From Duckworth to Chano, Jermaine and Joey / And Aubrey and can't forget Bobby."

Listen to the Eminem version here. Let us know who you think went harder in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:
Yeah, sold a quarter million records
In my first week
And BET still don't wanna let me perform
Maybe it's 'cause my pigment
Maybe I'm being ignant
Maybe it's all a figment
Of my imagination
And exaggeration exacerbates
That I'm the illest, yes
How many are willing to kill us?
We the realest
That's why they feel us the best
But I don't give a fuck about this rap shit
Not really though
Shittin' on a brother I should love
Man, that's silly, yo
