As you probably saw, Lil Wayne had the opportunity to escort Floyd Mayweather to the ring where he fought Marcos Maidana this past Saturday night. Weezy F also performed his new single "Believe Me" for the very first time while walking Mayweather to the ring.
The epic and entertaining fight between Mayweather and Maidana resulted in a victory for the former, although not without some stiff competition. After the fight ended, however, another fight almost went down, this one between Maidana's trainer and Lil Wayne.
TMZ reports that Weezy was hit with a water bottle on his shoulder following the boxing match, and the rapper believed that the thrower of said bottle was Marcos Maidana's trainer, who was close behind him. The YMCMB rapper attempted to confront the trainer, which you may or may not be able to see in the footage below (it's a rather confused scene).
Someone in Wayne's entourage apparently held the rapper back as he screamed to Maidana's crew, "Let's GO, n***a!"
Both sides were broken up without incident.
