A lack of cooperation from Canadian customs was cited as the reason for the cancelation.

Fans were upset after Lil Uzi Vert did not show up to his headlining set at the Santa Teresa festival in Saint Therese, Quebec Sunday night, Le Journal De Montreal reports. The crowd waited two hours after Uzi's allotted set time (9:30) to watch the rapper perform, only to be told he had canceled his appearance. The festival posted a message citing a lack of cooperation from Canadian customs as the reason for Uzi's absence.

According to a tweet from a fan, both Trippie Redd and Ski Mask The Slump God canceled their own performances at the festival earlier in the day.

Footage from the festival shows fans rushing the stage after being told Uzi would not perform. One man appears to grab a fire extinguisher, which he begins to spray. Another man can be seen pushing over what looks to be a set of speakers.

The cancelation comes after the rapper pulled out of his performance at Montreal's nearby Osheaga festival last summer.

This is not the first time Uzi has left fans disappointed by announcing the cancelation of a scheduled concert. In March, Uzi was a no-show at the BUKU Music Festival in New Orleans. Prior to that, he canceled two consecutive shows in the Bay area at the last minute. Last October, he canceled all his dates with Playboi Carti following the announcement of a joint tour.

Uzi did recently make it out to his set at Rolling Loud Miami, where he stage-dived from a considerable height.
