LeBron James Sells Comedy Movie To Paramount, In Talks For Starring Role: Report

The past few weeks have been major for LeBron James. The famed basketball player is fresh off of signing his new four year $154M contract with the Los Angeles Lakers which is one of the biggest deals ever in NBA history. For LeBron James, being in Los Angeles means there are more opportunities in the entertainment industry he could field as well and it looks like he's already making moves. Just a few days after he penned his deal with the Lakers, it looks like he's made another major play in the film industry.

Shortly after penning a $154M deal with the Lakers, LeBron James is reportedly in the talks for starring in an upcoming comedy film with Paramount, Variety reports. Scribe Steve Mallory and Lebron James' SpringHill Entertainment have sold an untitled comedy flick to Paramount Players with hopes of LeBron James as the star. The films been in the works for several months and Mallory would be the person who would pen the film's script.

LeBron is set to produce the film with his SpringHill partner Maverick Carter. If reports are true, this would be LeBron James' second role in film. He had a cameo as himself in Judd Apatow's "Trainwreck."

LeBron's move to L.A. is polarizing for a lot of basketball fans but it looks like he's getting ready to make good use of his time over there.
