There's something about Chantel Jeffries. The gorgeous DJ has been linked with The Weeknd, Justin Combs, and DeSean Jackson. She was also in the car with Justin Bieber when he was arrested for a DUI four years ago. This past weekend, Jeffries was spotted with another affluent celebrity, Kyrie Irving.
According to Page Six, the couple was spotted at the launch of new Long Island City rooftop pool Profundo Day Club at the Ravel Hotel, where Jeffries was spinning on Friday. Irving and Jeffries, who have been linked in the past, were spotted "canoodling" before leaving together for dinner. It is uncertain whether to two are just hanging out together, or if they are taking things seriously.
Irving is currently at a career crossroads with the Boston Celtics. Although he has only been with the Celtics for one season, Irving's injury-riddled career may be a concern for the franchise going forward. According to Boston.com, Celtics play-by-play announcer Mike Gormanbelives that no one is safe from being traded. “I think Kyrie’s record over the course of his career would tell you that injuries have been a problem,” he said. “I think you have to be smart here and look at what the facts are, and understand that they may be a problem going forward, too. Gordon Hayward hasn’t given any indication in the past that he’s injury-jinxed in any way, shape, or form. Kyrie, on the other hand, does have a history of injuries.” Maybe Jeffries is helping keep the pressure off Kyrie's mind.
