Kid Cudi speaks about the lack of positivity in rap shows, and why they are failing to connect with audiences.

A few days ago, it was announced that the iconic Rock The Bells festival would not fulfill its New York and DC dates due to low ticket sales. After the initial shock, many were left wondering why the once successful festival had failed to pull in an audience this year. 

Kid Cudi, who was meant to take the stage at the cancelled dates, offered his opinion on Twitter yesterday. In a lengthy response (for Twitter, that is), Cudder blamed the low interest in a lack of positivity, variety, and liveliness in hip hop performances. He then went on to name a few acts that he felt were capturing the essence of a great hip hop show
