KD speaks on hecklers after learning of $25,000 fine.
Yesterday afternoon the NBA announced that Kevin Durant had been fined $25,000 for cursing at a fan in Dallas during the Warriors' loss to the Mavericks over the weekend. At the time the news broke, KD was in the middle of a podcast with Yahoo Sports Chris Haynes and he offered an unfiltered take about the incident and hecklers in general.
"I knew I was gonna get fined," Durant said when Haynes informed him of the fine. "But how much they fine me?"
"[$25,000] for telling a fan to shut the fuck up and watch the fucking game," Durant added. "More fans should understand what that means. Grown men can't come to games and heckle grown men. That's corny, that's weak."
"You come into a game to heckle a grown man, 'you soft,' 'you weak,' Draymond this, Draymond that, 'you're a bitch,' [and] you're going to sleep as a grown man doing that to another person?"

The incident in question occurred with 1:01 remaining in the first quarter of the Warriors' 112-109 loss to the Mavericks on Saturday night, when Durant approached the heckler seated on the baseline and told them point blank, "Watch the fucking game and shut the fuck up."
Golden State is currently sitting at 12-6 for the year as they prepare for a four-game home stand that kicks off on Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
