Rapper Kash Doll returns with "Hustla," a cautionary tale surrounding the detriments of stripping.

Detroit Rapper Kash Doll returns with banger and story-telling track "Hustla". The track is a cautionary tale, further explored in a jointly released mini-movie named "The Kelly Chronicles". The latter's focus is set around the life of an ambitious hustler and stripper named Kelly who stops at nothing to advance financially. And through her journey to financial success and freedom, the young woman will face dangerous situations forcing her to compromise her morals amongst other sacrifices. Regarding the new releases, Kash Doll states "Kelly Chronicles’ is a story based on things I’ve seen in the real world strip club life, although thankfully it’s not my own experience.  I wanted to show girls that it’s not all glitz and glamour. Sometimes women sacrifice their peace of mind, dignity and most importantly self-worth.”

According to Kash Doll, the story is personal as Kelly embodies the many women she's met during her former stripping years. Following the untimely passing of her father, the "Ice Me Out" rapper turned to stripping and working multiple jobs to provide for her family. Previous Kash Doll releases demonstrate a consistency surrounding topics of hustling, major life lessons and harsh realities of daily living. The rapper clearly upholds speaking factual truths while providing well thought-out bars. The "Hustla" track is proposed as an on-going story, thus we can expect more on Kelly's story in the future.

Quotable lyrics

He wrote the anthem, was stack after stack
That niggas threw forty seven thou' to be exact
That's the most she ever made so it fucked the head up
He told her, "Holler at me when you want to get your bread up"
