As we all know at this point, last night was the 2019 Met Gala with a Camp theme that asked attendees to show "Notes on Fashion." While endless acts and musicians stunned in some dramatic and stunning looks Kanye West ventured on his own vibe, choosing a simple $40 Dickies jacket.
The musician wore the Eisenhower Jacket with black trousers and of course a signature of his own, the YEEZY Season 4 Military Combat Boots. The chosen look by the "Runaway" music maker is no surprise as he usually serves laid back looks to keep all eyes on his wife, Kim Kardashian. Mrs. West wore a drip effect Thierry Mugler dress which apparently took eight months to produce.
Kim was shamed for her outfit of choice as online haters called her "fake" for rocking such a snatched waist. Her trainer, however, clapped dack defending Kim's look in a major way.
"To make things clear 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her ass off 6 fucking days a week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated," Melissa Alcantara wrote. "3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work!"
She added: "I don't give a shit about your opinions on her body if you think she fake or not! I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work that she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable."
