Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrive for the 2019 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 6, 2019, in New York

Fans wondered how Kim's internal organs were still functioning in that gown.

With Kim Kardashian continuing to impress her doubters by quietly freeing dozens of low-level criminals who have unfairly been sentenced to spend years behind bars, the star is also turning heads because of her ever-famous figure. For a decade, Kim Kardashian has flaunted arguably the most unique body type in Hollywood, which is something that her husband Kanye West has swooned over in his music and interviews. The family has been known to go to great lengths to accentuate their curves, using waist trainers and promoting "flat tummy tea" on their social channels. Things reached a new height yesterday when mother-of-three Kim showed up to the Met Gala in a gown that hugged her waist so tightly that fans weren't sure how she was still breathing.

As reported by Cosmopolitan, online body-shamers have been referring to her body as "fake" because of the photos from the exclusive event, going after her for putting her body at risk just for the sake of looking good. The star's trainer has since hit back at Kim's critics on her Instagram story, defending her and her decision to show off her body last night. "To make things clear 1. This dress is corseted BUT 2. Kim trains her ass off 6 fucking days a week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated," wrote Melissa Alcantara. "3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work!"

Alcantara goes on to shut down all of the haters, writing, "I don't give a shit about your opinions on her body if you think she fake or not! I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work that she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable."

What did you think of her outfit last night?
