Jorja Smith will grace the cover of V Magazine's September issue. The Walsall singer has shared some images from her upcoming cover story, which bears the title Hello World, Meet Jorja Smith. The photos feature Jorja wearing some elegant jewelry, as well as a mask that would make Yeezus-era Kanye West proud. According to photographer Sølve Sundsbø, the rope-like necklace seen on the cover is designed by "Contemporary Roman High Jeweler" BVLGARI. The issue will hit newsstands August 30th.

The V Magazine cover story follows Jorja's feature in Playboy in June, where she spoke of her hopes to transcend genre. "People say I’m pop or soul. I don’t even know," she said. "I just think it’s me. When you listen, I hope you realize my voice is its own genre."
