Jordan Peele's anticipated reboot lands a release date.

Jordan Peele is well on his way to making his mark in the horror genre. Get Out has already been hailed by some as a modern masterpiece, though the subject matter has led to some stubborn purists labeling it "a social thriller." Not to mention the upcoming Us, which looks to be a flat-out terrifying body of work; by his own admission, Peele has already held Lupita Nyong'o's performance to Anthony Hopkin's esteemed turn as Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Either way, the comedic-actor-turned horror master has already set his sights on the television game, with his upcoming Twilight Zone reboot.

The revived series, which features Peele handling production duties, is officially set to premiere on Monday, April 1st - better known as April Fools’ Day. Fans can take a break from the foolish pranks and mischief to catch two episodes of The Twilight Zoneall access, which will air weekly from April 11th onward. The show, which marks the Zone's third revival, should be an interesting addition to the budding horror canon, though it does speak to Hollywood's greater obsession with rebooting and remaking. Still, it's Jordan Peele, who is becoming more of a trusted commodity with every passing day. Will you be tuning in?
