Jhene Aiko releases a stunning new video to "Lyin' King," on the one year anniversary of "Souled Out."

Jhene Aiko releases another video from her critically acclaimed debut album, Souled Out, released one year ago. The "Lyin' King" video might be Aiko's most ambitious yet, as she plays a medicine woman who's encountered a dying ancient civilization.

The tribe is suffering because the males have taken away the voices of their female tribe members. As Aiko passes through the tribe, spreading her wisdom, she sees that the men have lost their ability to love and only know how to operate through aggression. The video ends with the tribe's chief experiencing "ego death," as Aiko tells FADER in an open letter detailing the video's inspiration.
