With this year’s Super Bowl taking place in NYC for the first time ever, it’s only fitting that Jay Z be a part of the festivities in some sort of way. It’s been reported that Hov will be headlining DirectTV’s Super Saturday, which is an exclusive pre-game party the night before the big game.
According to Billboard, Hov will take the stage at the invite-only event at DirecTV’s SuperFan Stadium at New York’s Hudson River Park Pier 40 on February 1st. The party will be co-hosted by Mark Cuban’s AXS TV and Eli Manning.
Beyoncé is also being rumored to join her husband for at least one song at the event. WhileDirecTV would not confirm these reports, hosts of other Super Bowl parties were told that the couple was already exclusively booked by another event that week.
“Obviously, we would love to have her, but no comment on the rumors,” a DirecTV spokeswoman told Billboard.
