While it was initially reported that Jay Z and Beyonce would not be attending Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding, things seem to have changed drastically. Not only will the couple be in attendance, but Hov will be serving as the best man for the occasion.
Rumor had it that the opposition from the couple came from a reluctance to be featured on Kim's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, so Kimye's decision to keep the wedding off-camera seems a likely reason for Bey and Jay's change of heart.
According to Radar Online, Jigga also hit Kanye with a pretty awesome pre-wedding gift upon accepting his offer to be best man. “The best news came when Jay sent a gift to Kanye with an inscription referring to Jay Z as the rapper’s ‘Best Man,’” a source recounted. “The gift was a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted flask, delivered with a $10,000 bottle of scotch, for Kanye to have for his wedding day.”
Apparently Kanye was also very excited to learn that his friend and collaborator would be making it out to the big day. “Kanye was jumping up and down, he was so excited,” the source continued. “He was running around Kris [Jenner's] house to find Kim saying, ‘Baby, look! Look! Jay and B are coming!’”
