Instagram Stories Announces Music Feature To Celebrate 400 Million Users
The Intagram's stories feature is almost two-years-old and recently hit 400 million users worldwide. To celebrate the occasion, the company has announced the arrival of a new feature that music lovers and the social media enthusiasts around the world are bound to appreciate. The new addition will allow people to add musical clips to the type of content they are already sharing in their stories. The novelty is already rolling out on iOS and is said to be on its way to Android "soon."

Music will be added through "stickers", which will appear beside location, GIF, and other sticker add-ons. The songs can be chosen from a library of thousands of tracks. Every single tune of the collection can be previewed before their selection. The songs can also be manipulated to include specific parts in the posted content, along with the option of being added before or after the creation of the story. Instagram's musical partner in this update has yet to be clarified.

This feature comes days after the arrival of the company's IGTV, one that can be described as Youtube's distant cousin. A video chat option has also been added this week to allow for communication from one individual to another or within groups.
