While they entered 2014 with a considerable amount of hype, HBK somehow came out of things underrated. Both Iamsu! and Sage The Gemini released solid projects, but neither resonated beyond their core fanbase, partyly due to a lack of promotion, and partly due to their uncompromisingly personal aesthetics.
Sincerely Yours is a breezy, emotional, every-man take on the sound coming out of the Bay and L.A. right now, and "Stop Signs" is a perfect example of the textured bounce that Su favors. The video, released today, echoes this feel with heavily filtered nature shots, taking things in a (literally) wavy direction.
