He thanks her for "temporarily funding his music and wardrobe".

Drake may not have actually started from the bottom, but he's certainly come a long way since 2006. The OVO rapper has shared a note he wrote to his mother in 2006, which was the year he released his debut mixtape, Room For Improvement, making him 20 years old. The message itself is a pretty hilarious look into Drizzy's early struggles trying to make his career happen, as he tells his mom he's cancelled his WireImage subscription after spending a little too much on eBay (all of which seemingly funded by Sandi Graham herself).

Of course, he promises to pay his mom back for everything eventually, which he's now pretty sure he's made good on. "eBay was the addiction back in 2006. Def come a long way and it's safe to say I most likely settled this debt," he captioned the picture.
