Young Thug and Future haven't left too much to the imagination, judging by the symbolism contained in their matching tattoos. Whether it be a marker of time, or an accurate depiction of their BFF relationship, the bros at Super Slimey are here to stay as a workable entity. On their latest offering "Do It Like," Future employs the 808 siren synonymous with his DS2 sound if you had to pinpoint it to one era/project in particular. Over top the neo-classical trap stylings, Future and Thugger wax at a lyrical yet conversational pace best suited to their modified "double-time flows." In all honesty, there's clear cache to the "old testament" in this new Future, Young Thug collaboration.
Young Thug and Future have been so prolific over time, that fans have lost count of what project they covet the most from their respective production lines, some wanting a DS3 project to come to fruition - others a second installment in the Super Slimey series, and that doesn't even account for the mythical Hy!£UN35 album that never saw light, going back to the nascent period of Young Thug's commercial success. Whatever comes of this, if anything, we'll have this "Do It Like" loosie to enjoy, from here on out.
