There are a couple of hotspots in the rap world right now, namely Altanta, L.A., and Chcago, but DC is definitely on the rise. Along with Wale and Shy Glizzy, Fat Trel is at the forefront of the scene, and today he's reached out to Chicago to bring two creative hotbeds together.
Paris Beuller, who's been behind many of Lil Durk's regional hits, broadens his palette for the collaboration, building a beat from a twisting guitar sample, giving a hard but very colorful backdrop for his deceptively technical wordplay.Trel is due for his MMG debut, and seeing that Ross was able to release two albums in 2014, hopefully he can finesse at least one for the label's new signee.
