Michael Rapaport sounds off on Eli Manning benching.

Eli Manning's streak of 210 consecutive starts will come to an end this Sunday in Oakland as the New York Giants have announced that Geno Smith will get the start against the Raiders.

Eli, who has started every game for the Giants since November 21, 2004, has thrown for 2,411 yards, 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season for the 2-9 G-Men.

Giants fans, and football fans alike, have rightfully trashed head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese over the decision ever since the announcement was made last night. Meanwhile, Manning, who fought back tears last night when speaking about being benched, has received an outpouring of support from fans, former teammates, coaches and others around the NFL.

Among those who took to social media to call out Ben McAdoo and the organization was noted Giants fan Michael Rapaport, who delivered one of his patented rants.

Many of Manning's former teammates, including Plaxico Burress, Osi Umenyiora, and Brandon Jacobs were also stunned at the decision, which many deemed nothing short of disrespectful. Justin Tuck, who played with Eli for nine seasons, described the decision to bench him as "one of the STUPIDEST" he's ever seen in his professional career.

Check out what some of Eli's former teammates, and other players around the NFL, are saying about his unexpected benching below.
