You aint never seen a yellow boy wild’n like Dumbfoundead.

Los Angeles rapper Dumfoundead has been fairly quiet recently, but he’s back to bless us with a simultaneous song and video drop. On the track, Dumbfoundead takes on the conception that Asians are soft, addressing the “regular whitewashing of Hollywood roles.”

Dumbfoundead uses mildly autotuned vocals and a sparse, semi-trappy beat to deliver his message, telling everyone, “you think everything is safe till I ask you where the safe at!” While the song is undeniably smooth, the video takes things to the next level. Dumbfoundead has his face placed into and endless array of famous movie and TV roles that were originally played by white men. Leonardo DiCaprio, John Travolta, Harrison Ford, even Bob Saget isn’t safe. Definitely check it out below and cop it on iTunes if you want to support.

Quotable Lyrics

the other night i watched the Oscars and the roster of the only yellow men were all statues,
we a quarter of the population there’s a room of fuckin’ 1 percenters laughing at you,
fuck a bambu ceiling, guess i gotta play the villain,
ODB up at the Grammys on the mic like “Wu-Tang is for the children!”
