This is sure to cause a stir with fans of the beloved anime series.

Sad news for fans of Dragon Ball Super, it has recently been reported by a Japanese news source that the series will be replaced from its regular time slot come March following the conclusion of its current narrative arch. Fuji TV, the network behind the program, has not given reasoning for the hiatus as of yet.

This comes as a shock to many anime enthusiasts, as the show garnered robust ratings during its two and a half years on air. Ultimately, Dragon Ball Super could not dodge the studio's expectations and withstand a change in programming. Fans of the series have been taking to Twitter to express their shock at this emerging news, as many grieve the forthcoming conclusion of the beloved animated saga:

However, there is good news for fans of the series, as the anime will receive a video game spin off in Dragon Ball FighterZ, as well as a future film adaptation in the works. For English viewers, the show is still undergoing the dub process, so look for newer episodes to appear in the near future.

Furthermore, Dragon Ball fanatics can also cop some Adidas sneakers inspired by anime, as the Majin Buu and Freiza pairs have recently surfaced online.
