Last night Donald Trump used his Twitter platform to deflect social commentary made by LeBron James while he conversed with Don Lemon of CNN. LeBron stated: "We are in a position right now in America where this race thing has taken over, one because I believe our president is kind of trying to divide us."

True to his name, Donald Trump was offended, opting to denigrate both Don Lemon and LeBron James by questioning their intelligence. Thanks to resourceful Twitter users who've made it their job to expose the President's many fallacies, we now have record of Trump heaping praise over LeBron on countless occasions, contrary to his reactionary stance last night.

Trump may have even been among the first to label LeBron James a "clutch performer," amid criticism the former Cav was prone to passing up game winning shots.

Prior to that, Donald Trump referred to LeBron as both a "great player and a great guy," as record states.

Shortly thereafter, Trump reiterated that statement after Bronny Sr. won "Athlete of the Year" at the 2013 ESPYs.

During the 2012 NBA playoffs, Trump joined the chorus of LeBron fans in cheering for the Miami Heat as they took on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Finals.

But none of that seems to matter now that LeBron has spoken out against the NFL anthem protest and more generally, in protest of racial inequality. LeBron has gone on record crediting organized sports for teaching him his first lesson in race relations, so why put up a fight?
