Lil Uzi Vert's forthcoming Luv is Rage 2 is one of the most anticipated projects of 2017, and although Uzi has suggested that while a certain "old person" is responsible for its delay, it is "coming soon." This afternoon, his producer Don Cannon fielded questions from fans regarding the status of Luv is Rage 2 and what fans can expect.
"Luv is Rage [2] is not dropping no time soon," he said. "It's not gonna be a long time from now, but not within this month. We're still working on the album.
He later suggested that LIR2 is actually coming soon, and he even spelled out the word S-O-O-N to drive home the point, though he did add the caveat that "soon" could mean months. He confirmed that "XO TOUR Llif3" will be on the project with an added special guest -- and it's "fire." He told fans to expect "game-changing anthems" and a likely appearance from Lil Yachty.
"Y'all gonna be in for a surprise, y'all are gonna love this shit, I'm telling you," he said.
"Carti's tape is fire," he added.
