A week after his last track, "Dead Man Walking," Dave East is back with a strong new collab with The Game: "Bad Boy on Death Row." There's a good amount of kinship between the stylings of the Compton veteran and the Harlem youngster, and on "Bad Boy on Death Row," they come through with a smooth, purist piece of gangsta rap. The title is fitting.

"Bad Boy on Death Row" is produced by Buda & Grandz, the New York duo behind East's recent track "Money," also one of his standout tracks of the year. This must've been an in-studio collab, as the back-and-forth raps are perfectly timed, and each rapper takes inspiration from the other's respective home neighborhood. More cross-country collabs like "Bad Boy on Death Row" are certainly welcomed.

Quotable Lyrics

RIP to Yams when we in Harlem cookin' collard greens
I start trippin', it's like Future when he outta lean
And I don't do construction, but this hammer hangin' out my jeans
And what you rappers gonna do when you run out of memes
