Dame Dash was a guest on the talk show "The Real" (which includes hosts Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai, Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love and Tamar Braxton), where he spoke on Aaliyah's tragic death and if there was ever a chance that he could have been on that plane with the late r'n'b singer. Dame Dash assures the hosts that that wasn't a possibility simply because he had to get back to his kids, however he does say that if he was there, he would have told Aaliyah not to board the plan and wait for her proper jet. Dame reveals that upon their final messages with each other, Aaliyah indicated an uneasiness about the plane.
