Curren$y is one of Southern rap's most reliable forces. With the release of Parking Lot Music, he continues his long prolific streak with more new music, and as usual, the quality has not suffered. "Right Here," a collaboration with Casey Veggies from the project, is the kind of carefree groove that Spitta first mastered with Pilot Talk and can still ride better than anyone. Surprisingly, the style hasn't aged a bit. When Casey enters, he brings a West Coast energy to the track, which highlights the sunny tones in the beat. It's the kind of song that could stick around in your playlist all summer. Then again, by then we may have more music from Curren$y to cycle through.

Earlier this year, Curren$y announced Back At Bernie's, a sequel to his fan favorite Weekend At Burnie's project, released in 2011. It will once again be produced by MonstaBeatz. While he originally announced the project would be released in March it has yet to drop. No word on when we'll see it, but for now, Parking Lot Music should hold fans over. Quotable Lyrics:
I'm really in the lab plotting my moment
I know you don't believe me
I'll be back in the morning
I need my own space and my time
Or I can't grow
I can't front
My baby girl been on my mind
Since I've been gone
Sometimes I get to thinking
I'm probably better off alone
I been working baby
I ain't had no time to make it home
