Common has been so busy working and doing promo for his "LUV" film (which he not only acts in but helped produce), that it seems he hasn't had time to speak to his friend and G.O.O.D. Music boss, Kanye West, about his child-to-be with Kim Kardashian.
Common visited Big Boy on Power 106 in L.A. recently, and after speaking on his involvement in "LUV," the topic went straight to KimYe. Big Boy asks Com how he found out 'Ye and Kim were expecting, and the actor/rapper reveals it was just like the majority of us: through the internet. "Actually, I found out..I was on the net and I found out. I was checking out IMDB or something like that," Common said.
Com continued, "But I'm gunna talk to him about it, I haven't even talked to him about it." Com explained how he's known Kanye since before he was 'Kanye.' "Since he was 19, I was probably 23," Com said. "He was coming to make beats with No I.D. and we just got cool from there and then we reconnected but that's my guy."
He added about the superstar couple's pregnancy, "I'm really happy for 'em, 'cause 'Ye is a good brother, and he wanted that, I think he wanted to have a great family, and Kim is a sweet girl so I love it man."
