Though some might have cautioned against dropping an album alongside Lil Wayne, Logic, and Kevin Gates, Chief Keef has never been one to let anyone dictate his agency. The prolific young icon has always preferred to move at his own pace, delivering music at an impressive pace, though sometimes at the cost of cohesion. Now, with The Cozart upon us, Keef has inserted several vintage bangers alongside a few curious techno remixes. One such highlight is "Barry Bonds," which of course conjures memories of a legendary collaboration between Kanye West and Lil Wayne.
On this effort, Chief Keef foregoes the schmoove altogether, opting for a bestial fury. At least, to the extent of his capabilities. Keef, though possessing a temper, is never one to raise his voice for gravitas. Instead, his dead eyes and reputation speak volumes. Peep "Barry Bonds" now, and sound off below.
