Chance is well on his way to meet his goal of providing 1,000 winter coats to Chicago's homeless community.

Not a week goes by without us hearing about the good deeds of Chance the Rapper and his continued mission to raise up the less fortunate in his hometown of Chicago. Though he didn't gift his fans with his third mixtape on Christmas, he was, more importantly, able to raise $60,000 for his "Warmest Winter" initiative, the goal of which is to provide 1,000 EMPWR coats to homeless people in Chicago.

The coats in question are self-heating and can be transformed into both sleeping bags and duffle bags. The coats are also manufactured by homeless people, so donating to the Warmest Winter campaign also helps to create jobs.

The campaign's goal is to raise $100,000 by January 13. Visit the Warmest Winter website to donate or to find out more information about the worthy cause.
