Cash Money signee GlokkNine, whose music has shot up on WorldStarHipHop of late, has reportedly been arrested and charged with possession of a weapon and grand theft. According to VladTV, who came upon the information first, the young rapper was arrested at 2:30 am Wednesday morning. He was subsequently charged with possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted delinquent, grand theft in the third degree, possession of fewer than 20g of marijuana, and carrying a concealed firearm, as the record states.
The same report seems to indicate that GlokkNine's bond has been set at $5,450. As of this writing, it appears that GlokkNine is still being held in custody. A frame by frame account of the incident, if any, leading to his arrest should be regarded as inadmissible until proven accurate. The 17-year old rapper signed with Birdman soon after the CEO/mogul expressed an interest in garnering a new crop of talent within the SouthEastern American states.
Judging by the cash advance he was allegedly granted, his handlers should be willing and able to post his bond, at which point he'll be free to comment on the circumstances of his arrest. Up to this point, Glokk is considerably new to social media and such, the brunt of his promotion coming by way of WorldStar and Cash Money's multiple publicists.
