Cam & China hadn't released a song all year until now, but their new one, "Vibe," proves once again that the Inglewood twin sister duo can do no wrong. After stepping away from the all-girl group Pink Dollaz, Cam & China earned themselves a healthy buzz last year with singles like "Run Up" and the DJ Mustard-produced "NADA." For "Vibe," they've teamed up with J.Lbs, also from Inglewood, who produced a handful of tracks on Jay Rock's 90059.
As usual, the sisters bring a fearsome combination of lyrics and attitude, working in a harmony that they can credit to sharing a womb. There are too many stinging punchlines on "Vibe" to count. The highlight of the song is when one sister starts to softly spell out the hook one syllable at a time, and then, suddenly, her twin loudly bellows the same lyrics with a vicious delivery.
